This Healthy Mini Pie Bar will make any holiday party special! Protein packed greek yogurt gets a sweet twist with mini graham cracker pie crusts, light & creamy whipped cream, and decadent toppings! A no bake, guilt free dessert!
I don’t exactly know how it all started. But somehow in the last 10 years, self serve frozen yogurt shops have blown up. It really isn’t so hard to see why though. Who wouldn’t want 15 mix and match yogurt options with endless toppings, ranging from sweet chocolate chips to fresh bananas and strawberries.
Nick and I REALLY love frozen yogurt. This time of year I am all about the Pumpkin Pie flavor while he is pretty steadfast in his love of Pistachio and Coconut. Stella is a respecter of no yogurt, she loves them all.
So when we found ourselves at the yogurt shop two times last week, I decided that maybe I would try out my own little dessert concoction at home. Perhaps on the healthier side.
This healthy mini pie bar is SO cute and really simple to put together. The base is Keebler® Ready Crust® Mini Graham Cracker Pie Crust, perfect for portion control! I decided on Dannon® Greek Light & Fit® Carmel Apple Pie Yogurt for the filling. My love of these non fat greek yogurts goes WAY deep. I have one every single day, rain or shine. Why, you may ask? For one, they only have 80 calories per serving. They are very low carb for a yogurt AND they have 12 grams of protein which is fairly uncommon in a low calorie yogurt. So yes, I am in love! I finished these off with a little Reddi-wip® whipped cream…low calorie, creamy and pure deliciousness (obviously).
The fun part of this whole dessert was the toppings. We went Frozen Yogurt Shop style and did a little bit of fruit and a little bit of chocolate. I used a low calorie Salted Caramel Sauce as a topping, mini milk chocolate chips, toffee bits, graham cracker crumbs and green apple slices. You really can get as creative as you like with yogurt fillings, toppings and sauces.
I love that this little dessert bar only took me five minutes to set up and I had absolutely no guilt enjoying one of these perfect mini pies! No baking required! These are loved by kids and adults alike. With the holidays coming, it really helps to have an effortless dessert option like this (especially for those last minute guests!).
- Healthy Mini Greek Yogurt Pies:
- 4 Mini Graham Cracker Pie Crust (I used Keebler® Ready Crust®)
- 4 (5.3 oz.) Greek Yogurt (I used Light & Fit® Carmel Apple Pie Yogurt)
- Low Calorie Whipped Topping (I used Reddi-wip®)
- Topping Ideas:
- Mini Chocolate Chips
- Apple Slices
- Low Calorie Caramel Topping
- Low Calorie Chocolate Sauce
- Toffee Pieces
- Fill each individual pie crust with the contents of one individual greek yogurt cup. Top with desired amount of whipped cream. Top with optional toppings. Serve immediately.
