A sweet and sparkling beverage, these Cranberry Spritzers are a fun treat to serve at Christmas parties! Plus a fun tutorial on how to glitter up your wine glasses!
Water. What do you think of when you hear that word? I think the first word that comes to my head is BORING. I know that water is super good for you and that it is best to drink 8 glasses a day but as a true food lover, it is hard to just drink plain ol’ water. I am always looking for ways to spruce it up.
Which is exactly why I am totally in love with the SodaStream Power. It is an automatic sparkling water maker that you can use at home, effortlessly. It seriously couldn’t be any easier to make your own homemade sparkling water.
Plus there are a ton of fun flavor combinations. I am loving the SodaStream Sparkling Drink Mixes from Berry Mix to the sweet Pear flavor. These drink mixes range from zero calorie to low calorie, making this sparkling water a better choice for you all around.
Nick and I really try to keep our soda intake very minimal so we love having the option to make sparkling water at home, knowing that we are making a better choice for our bodies and our health…because we all know that New Year’s Resolutions are coming and that means time for fitness goals and cleaning up our diets.
I love this SodaStream Power so much that I am planning on giving a few as gifts this year. If you are looking for a fun and festive beverage for your Christmas party, you have got to try these Cranberry Spritzers. You can make these alcoholic or make them as a mocktail if you are serving the kiddos. I made mocktails so we could share with Stella. 😉 I garnished ours with mint and sugared cranberries.
I decided to make some Glittered Wine glasses to serve these Cranberry Spritzers in. They are so easy! These can be created and dried in two hours. They are fun to giveaway as favors as well. Here are the 6 items you are going to need
- Mod Podge
- Painters Tape
- Wine Glasses
- Parchment Paper
- Glitter (in your choice of color)
- A Sponge Brush
Here is a quick tutorial in photos to show you just how to do it.
Step One: Wrap your wine glass with painter’s tape at your desired level. I did about 1/3 of the way up.
Step Two: Place a little bit of Mod Podge glue onto the foam paintbrush and lightly coat the part of the glass you want to glitter.
Step Three: Over the parchment paper, pour the glitter on top of the evenly spread glue, shaking the glass as you pour so that you coat it evenly. Shake additional glitter over any spots that you miss.
Step Four: Shake the glass and gently tap on the table over the parchment paper to remove any excess glitter. Allow the glass to dry on the parchment paper for at least 1 hour.
