Serves: 16 Knots
  • Garlic Knots:
  • 1 Can Buttermilk Biscuits
  • ¼ Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning Blend
  • ½ Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • Spicy Tomato Oil-
  • ½ Cup Olive Oil
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, cut into thin slices
  • 1 (28 oz.) Can Crushed Tomatoes, I used San Marazano Tomatoes
  • 2 Teaspoons Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Sugar
  • 1-3 Teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Sriracha
  1. Garlic Knots: Preheat the oven to 350°. Cut each biscuit in half. With your hands roll each biscuit half into a rope about 5 inches long. Tie each rope half into a knot. Brush each knot with olive oil, garlic salt and Italian seasonings. Bake for 12-14 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Serve with spicy tomato oil.
  2. Spicy Tomato Oil: In a saucepan heat the olive oil on medium heat for 2 minutes. Add in sliced garlic. Cook the garlic slices for 5-8 minutes or until they have begun to slightly caramelize. Add in the remaining ingredients. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently to allow the oil and tomatoes to meld together. Serve immediately.
